Some spiderparents headcanons.
Miguel had a crush on Peter first and it was literally after a whole month of knowing Peter, but he kept his distance because Peter was rekindling his Romance with MJ and she was pregnant with Mayday.
For Peter, his feelings became more obvious when Miguel started to visit his universe more frequently. (Jessica said “Miggy, get out of the office more!” And Peter thought maybe Miguel needed a friend.)
MJ was the one to bust the first move on Miguel. Peter and Miguel were too busy internally panicking about finding the other attractive and enjoying their time with the other.
No one really expected Miguel and MJ to bond so quickly as they did. Sometimes Peter will arrive home from Spider-Man duties and find Miguel and MJ on the couch with limbs wrapped around just talking.
Miguel and MJ especially bonded over a shared trauma. Basically both their dads were mentally and physically abusive. It isn’t uncommon to hear MJ or Miguel mutter “I wanna kill your dad” to each other.
Miguel will climb up MJ and Peter’s apartment and knock on a window to get inside. Peter finds it funny, but MJ gets mad cause the landlord calls them every time.
Mayday calls Miguel “papa” and loves to cling onto him. This spider baby has two dads and a mom!
MJ can really cook, Peter SUCKS at cooking while Miguel is decent but he definitely can’t cook without a book cause sometimes he’ll just eyeball it and make something too salty or spicy.
Miguel is a busy person, sometimes he neglects to eat something. Peter and Mj get fussy about that, but especially Peter. He makes upset noises every time Miguel goes “oh I haven’t eaten in three days”
The first holiday Miguel celebrated with Peter and Mj was Passover.
That’s all I got for now I might make more whenever new ones pop into my head

I love spiderdads but man if MJ isn't a part of their relationship what's the point.
Okay I should add if you don’t ship spiderparents I actually don’t hate you, you ship what you want I am just saying for ME I really love spiderparents it’s kinda hard to be like “oh Peter and Mj are split up and Peter is dating Miguel instead” cause I do love Peter and Mj (also Miguel and MJ)
I hope none of y'all took it as me saying you have to ship spiderparents 😩
